School Psychologist in Arlington Heights, IL

You’ll be a vital part of multidisciplinary support, assisting with evaluations, providing direct services, and managing a caseload capped at 45 students spanning various age groups.
Qualifications and Skills Needed:
- Current PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement required
- Background in providing services for students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Strong commitment to collaborative school-based work and professional ethics
- Experience conducting student evaluations and delivering direct minutes highly desired
- Effective communicator, both within teams and when working with families
- Prior experience working in educational environments is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of up to 45 students, offering both direct and consultative psychological services
- Conduct evaluations and contribute to individualized education plans alongside staff
- Collaborate with teachers, support teams, and families to support student needs
- Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights on student development and interventions
Benefit from stable weekday hours (7:55am–3:10pm) and the ability to focus your expertise at one school, allowing for greater connection with students and staff. This is an immediate need to cover a leave, and decisions will be made as soon as possible after remote panel or one-to-one interviews. Please note fingerprinting will be required prior to starting, as part of the onboarding process.
