Bring your expertise in school psychology to support students’ wellbeing and growth. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact across two schools in the Denver area, serving students from early childhood through high school. Assignments will be designated on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring you play an integral role in guiding students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Current Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology (CO)
- At least 3 years of previous experience in a school setting
- Proven student assessment and intervention skills
- Strength in crisis response, threat/suicide risk assessment, and safety planning
- Strong oral/written communication and collaborative teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and diverse teams
- Proficiency with computer and technology tools
- Successful completion of district background check and fingerprinting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver group and individual counseling aligned with IEP mental health goals
- Develop and implement data-driven interventions at the student and system level
- Conduct comprehensive cognitive, behavioral, and functional assessments
- Prepare detailed service logs, evaluation reports, and IEP progress reports
- Coordinate and consult with families, educators, and outside providers
- Respond to crises, including assessments and classroom/individual support
- Participate in collaborative, team, and professional development meetings
- Provide consultation, psychoeducation, and resources to the school community
- Support a range of students, including those with special education needs, 504 plans, or requiring behavioral or academic interventions
