As a full-time, onsite School Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the academic and emotional development of students in an elementary school setting. Key Qualifications:
- Valid ‘Professional Special Services License’ through the Colorado Department of Education is required.
- Willingness to work onsite full-time (1.0 FTE) and commitment to the entire assignment period.
- Prior experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interview skills, with the ability to share previous experience and expertise effectively.
- Lively presence, positive attitude, and a collaborative spirit.
- Open to travel candidates who have applied for licensure in Colorado and have thoughtfully planned their move and accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services to a caseload of approximately 40 students, offering both direct interventions and consultative support to staff and families.
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop intervention strategies tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and administration to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Help facilitate Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable input for student success plans.
- Serve as an approachable resource for social-emotional learning and behavioral guidance.
