Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist credential is required
- Prior experience as a School Psychologist in educational settings preferred
- Itinerant work experience or willingness to move between school sites
- Bilingual Spanish language proficiency highly valued but not required
- Ability to work well within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, assessment, and consultation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for staff and families
- Provide direct and consultative services, including counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Offer expert guidance on intervention strategies, tailored accommodations, and data-driven recommendations
- Support staff training and contribute to the creation of a positive school climate
