School Psychologist - Arvada, CO

You’ll make an immediate impact by delivering direct mental health services to special education and general education students. These hands-on roles offer the chance to facilitate group and individual counseling, conduct assessments and evaluations, collaborate with educators and families, and respond effectively to crisis situations, all while promoting student well-being in a supportive school environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous school-based experience (required)
- Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Current CDE Special Service Provider License with School Psychology endorsement
- Proficiency with student assessment tools and practices
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills across diverse groups
- Calm, solution-oriented approach in crisis scenarios
- Solid time management and organizational aptitude
- Competent with technology and digital reporting/IEP documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group counseling based on IEP goals
- Develop, monitor, and document interventions to address academic, social/emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, families, and outside agencies
- Lead and participate in crisis management, risk assessments, and safety planning
- Conduct cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral assessments; draft comprehensive evaluation reports
- Attend meetings with educational teams to plan and monitor student progress
- Provide psychoeducation, professional development, and behavior consultations
- Support students with 504 plans and participate in MTSS and building-wide interventions
