As a licensed School Psychologist in North Carolina, your expertise will play a vital role in helping students succeed academically and emotionally. This assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through May 22, 2026, offering both stability and professional growth.
You’ll collaborate closely with educational teams to conduct essential evaluations, focusing on eligibility for Exceptional Children (EC) programs or reevaluations. Your days will be engaging and purpose-driven as you apply cognitive, adaptive, behavioral, and specialized assessments to ensure students receive the support they need. With a consistent schedule—working 37.5 hours across five days per week—you’ll enjoy the structure to build meaningful connections with your student caseload.
What we’re looking for:
- Current licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of North Carolina
- Experience or strong interest in K-12 educational settings
- Confidence in conducting eligibility and reevaluation testing (including cognitive, adaptive, behavioral, and related assessments)
- Skill in collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and communicating findings effectively
- Dedication to supporting a diverse student population
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and eligibility assessments
- Administer and interpret cognitive, adaptive, and behavioral tests
- Participate in developing interventions and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and collaborate with educators and families
- Maintain detailed, confidential records and timely documentation
