What We’re Looking For:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (state-specific requirements apply)
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations, behavioral assessments, and writing intervention plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Understanding of IEP development and knowledge of Special Education processes
- Ability to adapt to new school settings and work independently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer standardized assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning
- Interpret data and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports as part of multi-disciplinary teams
- Develop behavior intervention plans and support the implementation of effective strategies
- Consult with teachers and parents to design and monitor interventions that support student success
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with federal and state regulations
