A rewarding opportunity is available for skilled School Psychologists to provide critical support to students across two school sites in the Denver area. This full-time, onsite contract runs from ASAP through May 26, 2027, with weekday hours totaling 37.5 per week. Assignments may include early childhood through high school populations, depending on school pairing preferences and caseload assignments.
Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ prior school-based psychology experience
- Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Current Special Service Provider License with School Psychology endorsement from the Colorado Department of Education
- Advanced skills in student assessment, data-driven evaluations, and crisis management
- Proficient in group/individual counseling aligned with IEP goals and mental health services
- Strong oral and written communication; effective consultation and collaboration with educational teams and families
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain composure in crisis, and interact with diverse communities
- Strong computer and technology literacy
- Must complete district background check and fingerprinting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative mental health services for special education and general education students
- Develop, implement, and document individualized and group interventions
- Conduct cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral, and adaptive assessments for IEPs
- Participate in threat/suicide risk assessments, crisis response, and the development of safety plans
- Collaborate in IEP, MTSS, and behavioral health meetings; provide professional development and consultation
- Offer psychoeducation, home wellness visits, and community resource coordination
- Support both academic and behavioral intervention planning and implementation
