Qualifications:
- Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate in School Psychology
- Minimum 3 years of previous school experience required
- Active CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
- Strong communication, assessment, and collaborative skills
- Skilled in technology and current best practices in school psychology
- Able to balance multiple priorities and adapt in crisis situations
- Background check and fingerprint clearance required
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and group counseling based on IEP mental health service goals
- Develop and implement interventions for academic, social–emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs
- Complete comprehensive assessments and evaluation reports
- Collaborate with families, teachers, outside agencies, and attend required meetings
- Conduct crisis management, threat, and suicide risk assessments
- Provide professional development, staff consultation, and community resource coordination
