This full-time, onsite position (37.5 hours weekly) lets you serve either early childhood, elementary, or secondary students, based on assignment availability. You'll deliver direct mental health services, conduct crucial assessments, and support students navigating academic, social, and emotional challenges—all while growing as a specialist with every child you help.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years prior school-based experience required
- Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate in School Psychology
- Current Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License in School Psychology
- Strong assessment, communication, and crisis management skills
- Proficient in technology and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student and staff populations
Key Responsibilities
- Provide group and individual counseling aligned with IEP goals
- Design and implement interventions addressing academic, social, and behavioral needs
- Conduct cognitive, social, and emotional assessments; write evaluation and progress reports
- Participate in crisis management, threat assessments, and safety planning
- Collaborate with families, teachers, building staff, and community providers
- Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and ongoing professional development
