This full-time, onsite role (35 hours per week, M-F) offers professional growth by engaging with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Assignments vary, giving you a chance to work with different age groups and schools and further broaden your skill set—all while enjoying the unique discoveries travel offers in your downtime.
Key Qualifications:
- Prior school-based psychology experience required
- Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate in School Psychology
- Active CDE Special Service Provider License (School Psychology endorsement)
- Strong assessment, crisis management, and intervention skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Solid interpersonal and collaborative teamwork skills
- Technological proficiency
- Commitment to working with diverse backgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and group counseling in line with IEP mental health goals
- Conduct assessments and interpret resulting data
- Crisis intervention, including suicide risk and threat assessments
- Consult and collaborate with staff, families, and outside agencies
- Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and professional development
- Maintain documentation and contribute to behavioral health programming
