School Psychologist - Aurora, IL
Step into a dynamic educational setting as an onsite School Psychologist serving high school students. This contract opportunity begins in early August 2026 and extends through mid-May 2027, offering a chance to make a meaningful difference throughout the entire school year.
Work from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, supporting approximately 30 high school students. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff, helping to develop and implement strategies that foster academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active School Psychologist licensure for Illinois
- Experience working with high school students preferred
- Expertise in evaluation, consultation, and providing evidence-based interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to remain onsite during scheduled hours
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to inform interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to address student needs
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting strategies to ensure student success
- Serve as an advocate for students’ well-being and educational access
