Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Current NC School Psychologist License required
- Experience with comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations
- Familiarity with K-12 school settings
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong commitment to ethical practice and student confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing and psycho-educational assessments
- Interpret evaluation results and provide recommendations for educational planning
- Deliver occasional counseling to support student mental health
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to address student needs
- Develop and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Promote positive behavioral interventions and school-wide mental health initiatives
- Document and maintain detailed records in accordance with state and district policies
- Participate in meetings and offer expert insights on student support strategies
