Step into a vital role providing onsite school psychological services for an elementary setting in the Wilmington, Delaware area! This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated School Psychologist ready to make a profound difference in the daily lives of students and collaborate closely with educational teams.
This assignment runs through June 8, 2027, and offers a consistent weekday schedule (Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), providing the stability to build strong relationships and facilitate impactful assessments and services.
Your expertise will be valued as you:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to design and implement individualized education plans.
- Support students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs in a positive, inclusive manner.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultative recommendations.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide short-term counseling as needed.
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all district, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications sought for this rewarding position:
- Active Delaware School Psychologist license (required).
- Strong assessment, counseling, and data interpretation abilities.
- Experience in school-based settings preferred.
