This opportunity supports one building, providing stability and a manageable caseload of 40-50 students. With 37.5 hours per week, you’ll have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in evaluations, IEPs, interventions, and more in a collaborative educational environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license appropriate for Ohio.
- Master’s or specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Previous schools-based experience supporting IEP processes and performing student evaluations.
- Strong understanding of interventions, data collection, and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct student evaluations and re-evaluations as part of the special education process.
- Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Implement interventions geared toward academic, emotional, and behavioral support.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote student success.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings, conferences, and ongoing professional development.
