With three positions available, you'll collaborate with dedicated staff to foster student success and well-being. As a valued member working exclusively onsite, your professional insight will be critical in identifying student needs and promoting positive educational outcomes across Monroe County.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist license (verification required)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Ability to work onsite, supporting K-12 students across various school locations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to navigate dynamic school environments and adjust to different schools as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations for students
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote student learning and emotional health
- Collect and analyze data to inform interventions and measure student progress
- Advocate for students’ social, emotional, and educational needs
