This position involves providing comprehensive psychological services to students across multiple school sites, empowering academic achievement and well-being in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina School Psychology License required
- Experience with evaluations, psychological testing, and counseling in a K-12 environment
- Ability to manage a caseload across different school locations within the district
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Strong commitment to student advocacy and evidence-based practices
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to support special education eligibility and programming
- Provide individual and group counseling to students as determined by IEPs and referrals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement student support plans
- Consult with school teams regarding interventions, behavioral strategies, and mental health resources
- Support crisis intervention, risk assessment, and promote a positive school climate
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal education laws
Job Details:
- Contract position, July 29, 2026 – May 27, 2027
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Onsite presence required, serving multiple school sites in the area
