Step into a key role supporting elementary students for the 2024-2025 school year as a School Psychologist serving as a Team Chair. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist.
- Demonstrated experience in school psychology, preferably at the elementary level.
- Strong background in leading and facilitating team meetings.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, parents, and support staff.
- Skilled in evaluation, IEP development, and data-driven decision making.
- Experience running special education or multidisciplinary meetings is highly valued.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as team chair for an elementary caseload, coordinating and leading all IEP and related meetings.
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and interpret results for staff and families.
- Work onsite to provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services.
- Facilitate communication between staff, families, and outside agencies to ensure support for every student.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines regarding special education.
- Develop and support the implementation of intervention strategies for academic and behavioral success.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services and meetings.
