Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensing as a School Psychologist
- Recent experience working with early childhood or elementary populations, preferably PreK–2nd grade
- Knowledge of conducting evaluations, providing counseling, and finalizing IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience or interest in crisis intervention within a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations, including assessments for special education eligibility
- Maintain and finalize Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide individual and small-group counseling for students as assigned
- Participate actively in the school's crisis team, supporting students and staff in urgent situations
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Document and report in accordance with best practices and required timelines
