Key Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut Educator Certificate in School Psychology required
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred
- Experience supporting students across multiple grade levels
- Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and comfort with varied caseloads
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services to students, including assessment, counseling, and consultation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Develop intervention strategies to enhance student success in school
- Promote a positive school climate and foster resilience among students
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all compliance guidelines
In this contract role, you’ll be scheduled for approximately 30-32.5 hours each week, working directly with students onsite. You will play a crucial role in addressing both academic and behavioral challenges while supporting families and staff through consultations and data-driven recommendations.
