Both positions offer opportunities to positively impact school communities for the 2026-2027 academic year, with roles available at the high school and elementary levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut School Psychologist license required
- Proven expertise in administering psychological assessments, delivering interventions, and providing counseling services within school environments
- Strong collaborative skills, working seamlessly with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate communicator able to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral growth
- Experience working in diverse settings and adapting to a range of educational needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and interpret assessment data to support individualized educational planning
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies and recommendations
- Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and parents to foster student success and well-being
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
Position Details:
- Contract roles, 35 hours per week
- Located at Bristol Central High School (August 27, 2026 – March 2027) and West Bristol School (October 20, 2026 – January 18, 2027)
