Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in New York State
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience working with K-12 student populations is highly valued
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in developing, implementing, and monitoring intervention strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct support and counseling to students as needed
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop appropriate interventions
- Assist in crisis intervention and prevention programs
- Serve as a resource to staff and families regarding best practices for student learning and mental health
