Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license
- Recent experience working in school settings, preferably with pediatric populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide counseling services as needed
- Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads and document services efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret findings to guide IEP teams
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student academic, social, and behavioral success
- Provide individual and group counseling tailored to children and adolescents
- Offer crisis intervention and contribute to the development of positive behavioral interventions
- Engage in the implementation and monitoring of support plans and strategies within the classroom environment
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives that promote a safe, inclusive atmosphere
