Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a closely related field
- Moderate experience in a directly related setting supporting students’ behavioral needs
- Valid special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license issued by the Professional Education Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB); or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (or pursuing certification)
- Training in nonviolent crisis intervention
- Background as an Emotional Behavioral Disorder Teacher, Autism Spectrum Disorder Teacher with behavioral intervention experience, or Behavioral Analyst
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and provide clear, actionable interpretation of results for school staff, parents, and community partners
- Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and social workers to develop Social Learning Profiles, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans
- Create and review data collection systems to evaluate intervention efficacy and recommend plan modifications for improved outcomes
