Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology is required
- Possession of current Minnesota school psychologist licensure
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students is essential
- Strong understanding of academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students across various age groups
- Excellent communication, assessment, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students, assessing cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop strategies and interventions that support student success
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans
- Provide consultation and recommendations on behavior and academic management strategies
- Assist in crisis intervention and response as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
