Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) Tier 3 or Tier 4 School Psychology license required
- Proven experience in school-based psychological services, including assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention
- Strong understanding of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), RTI, and special education evaluation processes
- Excellent communication skills for working with students, teachers, and parents
- Ability to develop and present effective intervention strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple cases with professionalism and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic evaluations, behavioral assessments, and re-evaluations for students as needed
- Interpret assessment results and support eligibility determination for special education services
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges
- Consult with teachers, school staff, and families to support student learning and wellness
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention and prevention programs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and recommend appropriate strategies
- Support crisis response efforts and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
