Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology required
- Demonstrated experience practicing as a school psychologist in educational settings
- Expertise in pediatric assessment, counseling, and intervention
- Strong understanding of special education laws and eligibility processes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Capability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Valid certification or licensure as required by South Carolina regulations
Role Highlights:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments and evaluations to guide support planning
- Design and implement evidence-based interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student IEP and 504 plans
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide professional consultations
- Deliver crisis intervention, counseling, and prevention services as needed
- Collect data and monitor student progress to inform instruction
