Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active School Psychology license for South Carolina
- Demonstrated expertise in psychoeducational evaluations and report-writing
- Experience delivering counseling and behavior intervention for K-12 students
- Ability to travel between school locations as needed
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Previous work in a school setting highly valued
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and support student educational and behavioral needs
- Provide individual and group counseling services in accordance with IEPs and best practices
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to eligibility determinations and student progress monitoring
- Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with school policies and legal guidelines
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and prevention, promoting a positive and inclusive school climate
