Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity making a real difference in the lives of high school students as a dedicated school psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite role runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, providing essential evaluations and assessments within a vibrant urban district. With a single opening for 35 hours weekly, you’ll have the chance to build meaningful connections and play a critical part in supporting student mental health and academic achievement.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania certification/licensure as a school psychologist (required)
- Demonstrated school-based experience in an educational setting
- Solid background in conducting student evaluations and comprehensive assessments
- Prior experience working in urban schools highly preferred
- Full completion of all required PA clearances prior to start date
- Reliable transportation to ensure punctual onsite attendance
- Ability to work effectively within designated hours: 7:15AM–2:45PM, Monday through Friday (no schedule accommodations possible)
- Comfort and enthusiasm for serving high school-aged students in a diverse environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough psychoeducational assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Deliver support and interventions for students’ social, emotional, and academic needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student growth and resilience
- Maintain detailed, confidential records in line with state and district guidelines
- Engage thoughtfully within the district’s urban and community-focused setting
