Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Credentialed or eligible for certification as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience in school settings, especially with diverse student populations across different grade levels
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Solid understanding of special education services and IEP processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create tailored support plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to students with academic, social/emotional, or behavioral concerns
- Assist in the development and monitoring of IEPs and 504 plans
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed across all school levels
