Embark on an impactful school-based contract opportunity supporting students from preschool through high school for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time position, averaging 37.5 hours per week, welcomes experienced School Psychologists seeking a hybrid work model—ideally with three days onsite each week, while the remaining two days can be remote. You’ll collaborate with one primary, one elementary, and one high school, providing a varied and dynamic caseload in an educational community near Chesterfield, SC.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility in South Carolina)
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Prior experience working within K-12 educational settings, preferably across multiple age groups
- Strong understanding of comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and special education processes
- Proficiency in developing interventions and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable with both onsite and virtual modalities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for preschool through high school students to support learning and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Provide crisis intervention, consultation services, and staff development
- Participate in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all state and federal guidelines
