Travel School Psychologist - Chesterfield, SC

In this full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week position, you’ll collaborate across a diverse range of educational settings, including preschool, one primary school, one elementary, and one high school. Expand your clinical perspective by engaging with a wide spectrum of student needs and gain invaluable experience working alongside various educational professionals in innovative and supportive environments. Your downtime can be spent exploring historical landmarks, scenic parks, and nearby attractions, making each assignment a meaningful adventure.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure in South Carolina, or eligibility to obtain
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse student populations
- Strong communication, assessment, and counseling skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Develop and monitor IEPs and intervention plans
- Provide crisis intervention and consult with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Facilitate individual and group counseling as needed
- Support positive behavior interventions and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support
