Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Familiarity with conducting psychoeducational evaluations, functional behavior assessments, and crisis interventions
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP process, and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Experience supporting students of diverse backgrounds and needs is highly preferred
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians on interventions and supports
- Participate actively in IEP and eligibility meetings, providing professional input and documentation
- Design and implement interventions promoting positive behavioral and academic outcomes
- Consult with teachers and staff members to support the implementation of differentiated instruction and accommodations
- Assist in the development of school-based prevention programs and crisis response initiatives
