Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in PreK and elementary settings preferred
- Strong expertise in conducting evaluations, initial and triennial assessments
- Proficient in leading and participating in IEP meetings
- Exceptional skills in report writing and interpretation of assessment data
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations, including initial assessments and triennial reviews
- Participate actively in IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Develop, write, and maintain accurate and timely reports
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth
- Offer consultation and intervention strategies to address students’ learning, behavior, and mental health needs
- Support compliance with all relevant federal and state special education laws and regulations
Experience:
- Prior experience working as a School Psychologist in a school environment
- Familiarity with PreK and elementary age educational challenges and solutions
