Contract opportunities are available serving diverse student populations within multiple districts for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent fit for those skilled in providing cross-categorical services to students from early childhood through eighth grade. Please note: travel between cooperative member districts may be necessary, and assignments could be further from your home zip code.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential (Illinois PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement required)
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Demonstrated experience with cross-categorical case management across EC-8th grades
- Competency in psychoeducational assessment and data-driven intervention planning
- Collaborative approach to working with IEP teams, educators, and families
- Strong communication, consultation, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with learning, behavioral, or emotional needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary IEP teams and facilitate eligibility meetings
- Develop and implement individualized intervention and support plans
- Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student supports
- Serve as a resource for social-emotional learning, behavior management, and crisis response
- Travel between assigned school sites and districts as needed to fulfill service delivery
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per district, state, and federal regulations
As a valued school psychologist, you’ll collaborate with passionate professionals while positively shaping student experiences. Work a standard school-year schedule with an approximate commitment of 35 hours per week. Both individual district and cooperative-based placements are available, offering a chance to broaden your expertise in various educational environments.
