Key Qualifications:
- Hold (or be eligible for) appropriate state School Psychologist credentials/license
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of current special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Compassionate approach with the ability to build rapport quickly with students and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for students across K-12
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement IEPs
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services, both individual and group
- Consult with teachers and parents regarding students' learning, behavior, and mental health
- Assist in developing and implementing behavior intervention and crisis response plans
- Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Support school-wide initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
