Key Qualifications:

  • Hold (or be eligible for) appropriate state School Psychologist credentials/license
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience working with diverse K-12 student populations
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
  • Knowledge of current special education laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Compassionate approach with the ability to build rapport quickly with students and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for students across K-12
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement IEPs
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services, both individual and group
  • Consult with teachers and parents regarding students' learning, behavior, and mental health
  • Assist in developing and implementing behavior intervention and crisis response plans
  • Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Support school-wide initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
