Make a meaningful impact as a full-time School Psychologist in a vibrant dual-language school community starting this August and continuing through June. This in-person contract position is ideal for compassionate professionals who thrive in dynamic educational settings and are eager to support a diverse student population. The school is especially interested in candidates with Spanish language skills, given its larger bilingual enrollment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) data meetings to help drive student success
- Serve as LEA (Local Education Agency) Representative at IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and advocacy for students’ needs
- Act as the primary parental contact for initial evaluations, offering support and guidance
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to inform individualized educational planning
- Serve on the student response team, intervening in moments of student crisis
- Complete risk assessments as required
- Embrace additional duties as assigned, contributing to a collaborative school environment
Desired Skills and Experience:
- State certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (required)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with bilingual or dual-language populations, considered a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to facilitate meetings and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Spanish-speaking candidates strongly preferred
Schedule at a glance:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8 am – 3:45 pm
- Wednesday: 8 am – 4:30 pm
