Make an impact working in-person as a contract School Psychologist, providing critical support and services to students in K-8 settings across two locations in the Chicago area. This position offers the opportunity to help shape the educational and social-emotional success of a diverse student population through collaboration and innovative problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology required
- Active license for School Psychology (PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement in Illinois)
- Minimum of two years’ experience in school-based settings
- Deep commitment to fostering each child’s academic and social-emotional growth
- Track record of living out core values dedicated to student wellbeing and success
- Proficiency in preventing, assessing, identifying, and supporting various student needs affecting learning
Responsibilities:
- Screen, evaluate, and support students facing academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges
- Actively participate in special education, 504, and MTSS teams to ensure student needs are met and compliance standards are exceeded
- Serve as a consultant on MTSS systems, leading interventions for Tier 3 students and monitoring progress
- Prepare and present evaluation documents and reports in accordance with compliance timelines
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and outside professionals regarding student development and needs
- Maintain confidentiality and accurate records of assessments, progress, and interventions
- Share best practices and provide professional development to school psychology teams and stakeholders
- Participate in regular staff, professional development, and team meetings
