Key Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina School Psychologist License required
- Previous experience in school-based psychological services strongly preferred
- Competency in conducting comprehensive evaluations for Special Education eligibility
- Proficiency in assessing Specific Learning Disability using the PSW model, as well as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD
- Ability to communicate assessment results effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to ethical practices and ongoing professional development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time, onsite psychological services from now through the end of the school year
- Conduct thorough evaluations for students referred for special education eligibility
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop effective interventions and recommendations
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP processes, and provide crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain detailed records and adhere to all state and federal guidelines
