Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or a related field is required
- Current Michigan School Psychologist Licensure is mandatory
- Experience supporting students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels is preferred
- Strong communication, consultation, and collaborative skills
- Proficiency in conducting psychological evaluations and writing comprehensive reports
Responsibilities:
- Administer evaluations and interpret data to support special education eligibility and programming
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on academic and behavioral interventions
- Provide crisis response services and help develop student support plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and serve as a resource for mental health awareness
- Support classroom teachers in implementing evidence-based interventions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
