Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology (required)
- Current and valid School Psychologist licensure in Michigan
- Experience in educational settings (elementary, middle, and high school preferred)
- Excellent communication, assessment, and intervention skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to identify learning, behavioral, or emotional needs
- Provide direct and indirect services to support positive student outcomes
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop interventions or recommend accommodations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized plans
- Facilitate small group or individual counseling sessions as needed
- Work proactively to promote social-emotional learning and positive school culture
- Maintain detailed records in accordance with state and district guidelines
