Step into a rewarding school-based role supporting K-12 students through meaningful psychological services. This contract opportunity runs from late July 2026 until the end of May 2027, providing steady, full-time hours across multiple campuses in a dynamic educational environment. Engage directly with students, teachers, and staff as an essential contributor to student success and well-being.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid South Carolina School Psychology License required
- Previous experience working with K-12 students highly preferred
- Strong background in psychological evaluations, testing, and counseling
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Adaptable to working onsite across multiple school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for a diverse student population
- Deliver individual and group counseling to students as appropriate
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to interpret results and develop effective intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with district policy and state guidelines
- Advocate for student needs within multidisciplinary teams
- Travel between school sites within the district as needed
