Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for a Colorado Department of Education Special Services Providers License with School Psychologist K-12 endorsement
- Completion of a specialist-level or approved doctoral program in School Psychology from a regionally accredited institution (minimum 60 graduate-level semester hours) geared toward serving students from birth to age 21
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and complete district fingerprinting requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer appropriate psychological assessments to identify students’ learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Interpret assessment data and develop actionable recommendations for interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain thorough case records and create clear, detailed written reports in preparation for IEP meetings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and students regarding classroom adaptations and curricular modifications
- Participate in pre-referral and post-placement meetings to support effective intervention strategies
- Engage in staff, professional, and inter-agency meetings to facilitate comprehensive support services
