Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for a Colorado Department of Education Special Services Providers License with School Psychologist K-12 endorsement.
- Completion of an approved specialist-level or doctoral program from a regionally accredited institution (minimum 60 graduate-level semester hours), focused on serving children ages birth-21.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and district fingerprinting process.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to determine students' learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Interpret data and recommend effective interventions.
- Maintain thorough case records and prepare evaluation summaries for IEP meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers, students, and parents to tailor classroom and curriculum adaptations.
- Attend staff, pre-referral, post-placement, and inter-agency meetings to develop supportive strategies.
