School Psychologist in Columbia, MD

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or PhD in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary teams and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to complete timely district background and fingerprinting checks (House Bill 486)
- Willingness to participate in a pre-screen eligibility interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Provide individual and group counseling services as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to support student achievement
- Develop, review, and help implement IEPs and 504 plans
- Deliver crisis intervention and consult on behavioral strategies
- Maintain accurate records and report findings in compliance with district and state guidelines
