School Psychologist - Columbia, MD

Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s or PhD in School Psychology required
- Valid school psychologist certification or state licensure
- Thorough understanding of psychoeducational assessment tools and processes
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards
- Ability to meet required background checks, fingerprinting, and House Bill 486 standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments
- Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized support strategies
- Participate in Intervention and Eligibility Team meetings
- Develop and implement social-emotional learning programs
- Support and advocate for student well-being in accordance with district policy
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with all regulatory standards
This position offers 37.5 hours per week starting August 31, 2026, through June 17, 2027. The role is contract-based, providing a structured academic schedule for the year.
