Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting student success and well-being as a skilled School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) combines educational assessment, counseling, consultation, and collaboration with school teams, parents, and outside agencies. Both onsite and select virtual positions are available for qualified professionals, promising a dynamic and impactful role.
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or higher
- At least two years of experience, including internship, as a School Psychologist
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
- Proficiency in comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Strong communication and report writing abilities
- Collaborative spirit—able to consult with educators, families, administrators, and external professionals
- Comfort providing crisis intervention, group/individual counseling, and social-emotional support
- Proficiency with educational testing tools, computers, and electronic documentation
- Capacity to handle confidential information with discretion
- For virtual candidates, readiness for online screening and proficiency with virtual platforms
Key responsibilities:
- Administer, score, and interpret psychological and behavioral assessments
- Prepare detailed reports and communicate results to stakeholders
- Lead counseling for students, both individually and in groups
- Actively participate in multi-disciplinary evaluation and IEP meetings
- Support crisis intervention programs at building and district levels
- Provide consultation and recommend strategies for academic and behavioral interventions
- Liaise effectively with families, staff, and community agencies
- Stay current with best practices, regulations, and innovations in the field
- Complete all relevant reports and documentation for Medicaid reimbursement
