Step into a pivotal role supporting student success on a contract assignment running August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027. This full-time opportunity (37.5 hours weekly) calls for dedicated school psychologists to work onsite, with two remote openings available for qualified virtual professionals. You will provide expertise across a variety of settings, serving a diverse population and collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, students, and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology required; state certification as a School Psychologist is mandatory
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a school psychologist intern or equivalent relevant background
- Strong ability to conduct psychoeducational assessments, interpret data, and develop integrated reports
- Exceptional communication skills for working with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adept at providing individual and group counseling, as well as crisis intervention support
- Familiarity with Medicaid reporting, IEP development, school records management, and related documentation
- Confidence in consulting and collaborating with school personnel, outside agencies, and families
- Physical ability to perform routine office activities and occasionally participate in crisis management
- Skilled in using computers for data collection, report creation, and virtual consultations (for remote candidates)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete psychoeducational evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education
- Deliver psychological services including counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support
- Participate in case conferences, multidisciplinary placement meetings, and in-service trainings
- Advise on strategies to facilitate academic, emotional, and behavioral growth
- Maintain compliance with federal/state guidelines and district policies
