School Psychologist in Columbia, SC

Your responsibilities will include providing assessment, consultation, and intervention services to students of varying age groups; collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff; and contributing your expertise to create supportive learning atmospheres. You’ll have access to virtual, casual panel interviews, allowing a relaxed and flexible hiring process.
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina School Psychologist license required
- Experience with psychoeducational evaluations and appropriate interventions
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Familiarity with special education laws, processes, and multi-tiered supports
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, positive school climates
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect psychological services to identified students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and assist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding students’ needs
- Provide crisis intervention, behavior management, and counseling support as required
- Maintain accurate records and follow district processes for compliance
