This contract opportunity spans from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology (required)
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a school psychologist intern or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- State certification as a School Psychologist is mandatory
- Strong knowledge in psychoeducational assessments, data analysis, and individualized education program (IEP) processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Proficiency with documentation and reporting, including use of computer systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and communicate findings to parents and faculty
- Observe and analyze student behaviors, review records, and consult with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Provide mental health counseling to individuals and small groups
- Help develop IEPs and participate in multidisciplinary committee meetings
- Coordinate crisis management efforts within the school and district
- Maintain current knowledge on developments in school psychology and participate in staff in-service training
- Collaborate with outside agencies for student support, and accurately complete required documentation, including Medicaid-related forms
