You will play a crucial role in supporting approximately 80 students on your caseload, collaborating with educators, families, and administrators to foster academic and emotional success. The assignment runs from August 2026 to May 2027, with a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week across five weekdays.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential in Georgia
- Experience working with K-12 populations preferred
- Familiarity with hybrid work environments and remote student support
- Strong skills in conducting psychoeducational assessments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete psychoeducational evaluations and assessments on-site
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student learning and wellbeing
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff to address students’ individual needs
- Contribute to IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and support plans
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and confidential reports
- Provide virtual counseling or consultation services as appropriate
