Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process, special education law, and RTI practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop intervention strategies
Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational evaluations to support student learning needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to interpret assessment results and recommend interventions
- Participate in the IEP process, assisting in eligibility determinations and writing goals
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address academic, behavioral, and emotional issues
- Consult with teachers and staff to develop classroom strategies and positive behavior supports
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote mental wellness and academic success
